Chicago, IL – Four Hospitalized After Two-Car Wreck on Cicero Ave

Chicago, IL (January 12, 2023) – After a two-car collision early Thursday morning on Chicago’s Southwest side, four individuals were injured, two of them critically.
A pickup truck and a Jeep collided in the 4000 block of South Cicero Avenue shortly before 2:00 a.m., reported officers with the Chicago Police Department.
According to authorities, two men, aged 23 and 35, were traveling in the vehicle and sustained serious injuries, such that they could not communicate at the scene. Authorities added that the two victims were transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, where they were classified in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the Jeep’s occupants, a 32-year-old male and a 21-year-old female, sustained minor injuries and were sent to Stroger Hospital, per officers. They were listed in fair condition.
At this time, however, the accident is under investigation, and no other information has been revealed.
