Serious Vehicle Accidents Across Illinois
Statistics from the state of Illinois show that well over 90,000 people were injured or lost their lives in automobile accidents each year. More than a thousand terrible events resulted in the deaths of around 950 people. Authorities report that speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and collisions with fixed objects are the top causes of fatal car accidents.
It’s no surprise that most car accidents in and around Cook County take place near busy thoroughfares. According to the most recently available state data, more than a quarter of all auto accidents in Illinois happen in the Chicago metropolitan region.
People hurt in road accidents that might have been avoided must pay the price for the carelessness of others. That holds true no matter what the outcome of the conversation is. Patients have to deal with the stress and suffering of mental anguish in addition to rising medical costs, horrible physical injuries, and other financial concerns.

You have the right to seek justice and full and fair compensation in Illinois if you were injured in a vehicle accident due to another driver’s negligence or inattention. Victims of car accidents in Illinois should see an attorney as soon as possible following their incident, as doing so on their own might make it very challenging to get enough compensation from the at-fault drivers or insurance companies.
