Chicago, IL – Lake Shore Dr Crash near South Loop Takes One Life
Chicago, IL (February 6, 2023) – A man lost his life as a result of a car crash that occurred in Chicago on Sunday morning. On February 5, the Chicago Police Department and firefighters responded to a crash on Lakeshore Drive.
At approximately 4:30 a.m., a vehicle was traveling south in the northbound lanes of Lakeshore Drive when it crashed into a dark-colored SUV in the 3300 block of the roadway.
Two men suffered injuries due to the accident. Both victims were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center for emergency medical care.
One of the men, age 35, passed away after arriving at the hospital.
The second man, age 38, was hospitalized in stable condition.
At this time, the Chicago Police Department’s major accident investigation unit is conducting an investigation into the crash.
