Chicago, IL – Man Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Accident at DuSable Lake Shore & Jackson Drs
Chicago, IL (April 21, 2023) – In Chicagoland, authorities say the Friday afternoon commute was disrupted by a major accident that resulted in serious injuries.
The collision forced the temporary closure of northbound DuSable Lake Shore Drive just before Jackson Drive, per reports from officers with the Chicago Police Department.
The Chicago Fire Department reported that one individual, identified only as an adult male, was sent to Northwestern Hospital. News footage from the scene showed emergency personnel gathered at the site and working to evaluate all of the victims involved.
Officials are investigating possible causes of the wreck and have not provided further details. The investigation remains active and ongoing in the meantime.
