Accidents Resulting in Serious Injuries in the Chicago Metropolitan Area

According to state data, there were more than 95,000 vehicle accidents in Illinois last year. More than 900 catastrophic events resulted in the deaths of around 980 people. According to authorities, the primary causes of fatal car accidents are collisions with immovable objects, drunk or drugged driving, and excessive speed.

Nearly all of Cook County’s traffic fatalities and injuries occur at or near busy junctions. According to recent Illinois state data, the greater Chicago metropolitan region is the scene of more than a quarter of all traffic incidents.

Car accident victims must bear the brunt of other people’s carelessness. In addition to the growing medical bills, horrific physical injuries, and other financial problems, patients must cope with the stress and misery of mental anguish.

What’s more, these injuries may cause serious suffering or even death, and those who have been affected may be entitled to compensation. If you were not at blame for an incident, you should speak with a Chicago automobile accident lawyer as soon as possible.
