Approximately 90,000 or more people were killed or injured in motor vehicle accidents in Illinois in 2017. There were probably a thousand of these instances, and as a consequence, perhaps 970 individuals died. The bulk of traffic collisions in Cook County and the surrounding area occur at intersections. According to statistics from the most recent year, more than a quarter of all auto accidents in Illinois occur in the Chicago metropolitan region.

If you were harmed in an accident that might have been avoided, the motorist at fault should pay for your medical expenses.
