COVID-19 Update
As you know, our country faces a difficult challenge with the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19). If we all work together and take proper precautions, we can get through this challenge and keep our families, friends and loved ones safe and healthy. Regrettably, the large amount of government shutdowns has reached our judicial system. On March 13, 2020, the presiding Chief Judge of Cook County issued a mandatory closure order of the court system while Covid-19 works its way through our communities. We will continue to resist any attempts to delay your claim so you can receive the justice you deserve from our judicial system.
We urge you to take certain precautions to protect yourself and your loved ones from the dangers of the Covid-19. While specific health decisions are still being modified by our national, state and local governments, there are some general recommendations that apply to all of us:
-
If you have an underlying respiratory illness and/or autoimmune disease like COPD, asthma, lung disease, systemic lupus, connective tissue disease, etc., please limit your exposure to the general public as the Covid-19 has been particularly dangerous to this susceptible population;
-
Keep an eye on those in our community over the age of 65 as this age group has been affected most harshly by the virus;
-
If you start to feel the onset of illness and/or develop a fever, call your primary care physician IMMEDIATELY. Time is of the essence in treating and recovering from Covid-19.
Our entire office continues to thank you for your confidence in our team and this virus will not slow down our efforts on your behalf. We continue to be available 24/7 to answer your questions and battle insurance companies to achieve the settlements and judgements you deserve. We will continue to push your claims forward and oppose any attempts to delay the case. We wish you and your family good health and happiness. We will get through this together.
