Plainfield, IL (February 13, 2023) – A pileup crash involving a semi-truck in the Plainfield area resulted in at least one fatality on Monday morning, February 13. 

The deadly accident was reported on Weber Road near Route 126 at around 3:50 a.m. Three passenger cars were involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer. The impact caused at least one vehicle to catch fire, and the road was temporarily closed. 

Other people were also hurt, and the injuries were reportedly serious. The identities of the involved parties have not been provided, and no further updates were made public. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local authorities.
