Chicago, IL – Five Injured in Major Car Wreck on Touhy Ave in Rogers Park
Chicago, IL (January 8, 2023) – On Sunday evening, January 8, a collision in Chicago’s Rogers Park resulted in five injuries.
According to the Chicago Police Department, a Chevy traveling east in the 1900 block of West Touhy Avenue sideswiped a vehicle, went through a red light, and collided with a vehicle traveling south on Clark Street.
Fire service teams who reported to the site of the incident said that a 52-year-old female was in critical condition, another 24-year-old female was in serious condition, and the other three victims were in fair to good condition.
The Chevy driver was issued a citation for running a red light, but the inquiry is still underway. CPD officers have supplied no other information to the public.
