Chicago, IL – Four Hospitalized After Car Crashes into Culver’s on Dempster St
Chicago, IL (December 5, 2022) – On Monday, December 5, a car crashed into a Culver’s restaurant in Morton Grove and injured several people.
At around 3:50 p.m., officers from Morton Grove responded to Culver’s, located at 7310 Dempster Street, for a complaint of a vehicle smashing into the structure.
According to authorities, a 2008 Toyota Sedan going westbound on Dempster Street exited the roadway and hit the structure. The vehicle entered the dining room and did extensive damage to the building.
Four diners inside the restaurant had minor injuries and were transferred to local hospitals. The Mount Prospect driver, a 79-year-old woman, was not hurt.
She received a citation for inappropriate lane use and a court date. However, an inquiry is ongoing, and no additional details have been provided.
