Multi-Vehicle Crashes in Greater Chicago
In 2013, there were more than 95,000 car accidents in Illinois, according to state statistics. Nearly 980 individuals died as a direct result of more than 900 accidents. The primary causes of fatal vehicle accidents include head-on collisions with immovable objects, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving at an unsafely high rate of speed.
In Cook County, the majority of traffic-related fatalities and injuries occur at or near busy intersections. According to new statistics from Illinois, more than a quarter of all traffic accidents occur in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.
Victims of motor vehicle accidents often face the burden of others’ recklessness. Patients must also cope with the stress and misery caused by major injuries, rising medical bills, and other financial issues.
The victims may also be entitled to compensation for their suffering or death as a direct result of these injuries. If the crash was not your fault, you should immediately call a Chicago automobile accident attorney.
In Illinois, you are entitled to compensation and justice if another driver’s negligence or inattention caused your injuries in a collision. Plaintiffs should get legal representation following a car accident in Illinois as soon as possible since it may be difficult to collect adequate compensation from the other driver or their insurance company without representation.
