Chicago, IL (September 10, 2022) – Two cars collided on the westbound side of Interstate 80/94 in Chicago on September 10 at night, prompting a police response.

An auto accident involving two to three vehicles on I-80/94 between Indianapolis Boulevard and Burnham Avenue is now under investigation by police as of 11:10 p.m. Law enforcement and medical professionals were sent to the scene to investigate and treat any casualties that may have occurred due to the long lines of traffic that stretched for several miles. A vehicle fire was started as a result of the collision, but Chicago Fire Rescue was able to put it out.

The number of victims is unknown; however, two persons were seen being transported to the hospital via local news footage available publicly.

In any case, the police haven’t revealed any further details.
