Chicago, IL – Three Adults, One Child Hurt in Vehicle Collision at 83rd & State Sts
Chicago, IL (March 24, 2023) – A state trooper from Illinois and four other persons, including a child, were injured in a Chatham-area collision on Thursday, March 23.
The incident occurred at the 83rd Street and State Street intersection, just off the Dan Ryan Expressway.
The Chicago Fire Department shared images of two damaged vehicles at the site. The Fire Department said that a state trooper and four victims, including a 10-year-old child, were hurt.
All accident victims were sent to local hospitals in good condition.
Per officers, a stolen vehicle was involved, though it was unclear which of the two automobiles in the CFD photographs had been stolen. An investigation remains active at this time.
