Accident & Injury Reports in the Greater Chicago Region

According to a recent analysis of traffic accidents by researchers and law enforcement officials, approximately 97,000 automotive incidents occurred in Illinois in 2013 alone. More than 910 incidents caused over 1,025 deaths. Drunk driving, crashing into a stationary object, and excessive speeding are the three leading causes of fatal automobile accidents.

Unfortunately, it has been determined that the most fatalities and severe injuries occur on multi-lane highways and hazardous intersections, particularly throughout the major metro regions of Cook County. In point of fact, the greater Chicago metropolitan area is responsible for more than a quarter of all traffic accidents in the state of Illinois, according to recently released data.

Those injured in auto accidents frequently suffer the costs and array of burdens associated with another driver’s negligence. Needless to say, the types of injuries to the body caused by car accidents can have major psychological and monetary consequences, both of which are frequently overlooked.

As a result of such a disaster, however, victims have legal options. What’s more, victims may also claim compensation for their emotional pain, not only their physical pain and injuries caused by a crash. For this reason, you should immediately contact a Chicago auto accident attorney if you were not at fault for a collision you’ve been forced to endure.

In Illinois, you have the legal right to seek justice and financial compensation if you were harmed in an automobile accident caused by another driver’s negligence or recklessness. Anyone involved in a car accident in Illinois should call an attorney right away, as obtaining proper compensation from the irresponsible driver or their insurance company may be challenging without the assistance of a skilled lawyer.

  • "Excellent Law Firm!"

I cannot recommend D&W Law Group enough. From the moment I met the team, I felt confident that I was in good hands. They kept in touch with me every step of the way. My attorneys fought the insurance company, and we settled my case without having to go to court. Excellent law firm!

  • "Great Settlement"

When I had my accident, the insurance company dragged its feet. I tried to handle the case on my own. I am so glad I decided to hire D&W Law Group. They kept my case moving, and I was awarded a great settlement. I hope I never need an attorney again, but if I do I will call them.
