Chicago, IL (August 11, 2022) – On the evening of August 11, two cars collided at a busy junction in the Chicago region, prompting the deployment of many law enforcement units.
The Chicago Police Department was called to the intersection of Cedar Lake Road and Countryside Lane around 7:30 p.m., and officers responded shortly after receiving the call. A major backup of traffic was caused by an accident involving two automobiles in the left three lanes.
