Chicago, IL - Woman in Critical Condition After Hit-and-Run Crash on Princeton Ave

Chicago, IL (July 6, 2022) – One victim was badly injured in a hit-and-run incident in the West Pullman area on Monday morning, July 4.

The 27-year-old woman was traveling in the 11900 block of South Princeton Avenue at around 12:35 a.m. when a sedan, described only as dark-colored, hit her SUV head-on, according to Chicago Police Department officers.

The woman suffered major injuries and trauma and was evacuated by EMS to Advocate Christ Medical Center. Officials noted that she was in critical condition at the hospital.

The sedan’s male driver escaped the scene on foot, and no suspect is presently in custody while Area Two police conduct an investigation. Anyone who saw the crash is requested to call Area Two or the CPD right away.
