Fatalities and Serious Injuries in Chicago Metropolitan Area Accidents

Last year, more than 97,000 individuals were wounded or died in car accidents in Illinois, according to state statistics. Approximately 950 persons were killed as a result of more than 890 tragic occurrences. Authorities cite automobile collisions with immovable objects, inebriated or drugged driving, and excessive speed as the leading causes of fatal accidents.

The bulk of traffic accidents that occur in and around Cook County occur at heavily used intersections. Recent state statistics indicate that more than a quarter of all car accidents in Illinois occurs in the greater Chicago area.

Due to the irresponsibility of others, people wounded in preventable traffic accidents must suffer the penalties. This is true regardless of the result of the communication. In addition to growing medical expenses, horrifying physical injuries, and other financial issues, patients must cope with the stress and misery of mental anguish.

If one of these diseases has caused suffering or death to you or a member of your family, you may have legal recourse. If you were not at blame for an accident, you should immediately see a Chicago automobile accident attorney.

If another driver’s carelessness or inattention caused your injuries in a vehicle accident in Illinois, you have the right to seek justice and full and fair compensation. Automobile accident victims in Illinois should get legal counsel as soon as possible after their collision, since securing hefty compensation from the drivers or insurance companies involved may be incredibly difficult without legal assistance.

  • "Excellent Law Firm!"

I cannot recommend D&W Law Group enough. From the moment I met the team, I felt confident that I was in good hands. They kept in touch with me every step of the way. My attorneys fought the insurance company, and we settled my case without having to go to court. Excellent law firm!

  • "Great Settlement"

When I had my accident, the insurance company dragged its feet. I tried to handle the case on my own. I am so glad I decided to hire D&W Law Group. They kept my case moving, and I was awarded a great settlement. I hope I never need an attorney again, but if I do I will call them.
