Car Accidents in the Chicago Metropolitan Area

In one recent year, there were nearly 95,000 vehicle accidents in Illinois, according to government figures. More than 900 different accidents resulted in the deaths of around 980 people. The three most common factors in fatal car accidents are drinking and driving, head-on collisions with immovable objects, and driving at excessively high speeds.

In Cook County, the majority of fatal and injury-causing traffic accidents occur on major highways or close to busy junctions. According to recently released statistics from the state of Illinois, the greater Chicago metropolitan region accounts for more than 25% of all traffic accidents.

Motor vehicle accident victims often shoulder the consequences of other people’s negligence. Patients must deal with rising costs, mounting medical bills, and other financial challenges in addition to the stress and suffering brought on by accident-related injuries.

The victims may also be entitled to damages for their damages or for the loss of a loved one brought on by an accident that’s occurred through no fault of their own. If you weren’t at fault for the collision in which you suffered injuries, you must immediately speak with a Chicago car accident lawyer.

You have the right to pursue financial compensation and justice for your injuries if you were hurt in a car accident in Illinois that resulted from another motorist’s carelessness or inattention. In Illinois, accident victims are strongly advised to get legal counsel as soon as possible after the incident since it may be challenging to obtain just and thorough compensation from the at-fault motorist or their insurance provider without such help.

  • "Excellent Law Firm!"

I cannot recommend D&W Law Group enough. From the moment I met the team, I felt confident that I was in good hands. They kept in touch with me every step of the way. My attorneys fought the insurance company, and we settled my case without having to go to court. Excellent law firm!

  • "Great Settlement"

When I had my accident, the insurance company dragged its feet. I tried to handle the case on my own. I am so glad I decided to hire D&W Law Group. They kept my case moving, and I was awarded a great settlement. I hope I never need an attorney again, but if I do I will call them.
