Joliet, IL – Motorcyclist Loses Life in Car Crash on NE Frontage Rd near Pandola Ave
Joliet, IL (April 15, 2023) – A motorcyclist died as a result of a car crash that took place on Friday evening in the Joliet area.
At around 11:11 p.m. on April 14, the Joliet Fire Department and area police responded to the scene of an automobile accident on Northeast Frontage Road.
According to reports, a 20-year-old man was riding a Suzuki motorcycle north on Northeast Frontage Road. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with a Ford Edge near Pandola Avenue.
The impact of the crash caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from the vehicle. The motorcyclist was severely hurt in the crash. He was rushed to Ascension St Joseph Medical Center, where he passed away from his injuries.
Two female passengers in the Ford were injured in the crash. The two victims were both transported to the same hospital for emergency care. The 69-year-old driver and a male passenger were not injured.
At this time, the incident is being investigated by the Joliet Police Department Traffic Unit.
