Motorcycle Crash Deaths in Illinois

Motorcycle accidents are all too common in the state of Illinois, especially in crowded metropolitan areas like Chicago. Tragically, many people are seriously hurt or killed in such accidents. Tragically, recent statistics from the Illinois Department of Transportation show that close to 80% of motorcycle accidents lead to serious injuries.

Thirty percent or more of wounded motorcyclists suffer permanent, life-altering disabilities. As a result of injuries incurred in accidents like these, many motorcyclists tragically lose their lives. In comparison to cars, motorcycles are much less well-equipped to protect their riders from potential dangers.

When these people are murdered in an accident that wasn’t their fault, it causes tremendous emotional and financial strain on their loved ones.
