Stevenson, IL - Multiple-Car Wreck, Victim Injuries on I-55 Inbound at Clarendon Hills Rd

Stevenson, IL (October 10, 2022) – On Monday night, October 10, the Stevenson Police and the Chicago Police Department responded to an accident involving two automobiles on the Clarendon Hills Road exit ramp off Interstate 55.

It was at around 6:30 p.m. when police officers started their investigation on the Inbound side of the motorway. Officials said there were long backups before Clarendon Hills Road and the Veterans Memorial Tollway, and paramedics and police officers were sent to the location to assess the situation and treat any wounded parties. The initial accident also resulted in a vehicle fire, which Chicago Fire Rescue units responded to extinguish.

There has been no confirmed victim toll, but news footage showed at least two people being taken to the hospital.

However, the cops have not provided any updates. The Stevenson Police Department has asked that anybody with more information about the event get in touch with them.

We hope for a full and speedy recovery for the injured victims involved in today’s wreck.
