Highland Park, IL – Woman Seriously Hurt in Metra Train Accident at Elm Place
Highland Park, IL (August 18, 2022) – On Thursday evening, August 18, in Highland Park, a Metra train struck a woman, causing her to sustain severe injuries.
Metra officials report that the woman, whose age is unknown, was struck at approximately 5:40 p.m., just north of downtown Highland Park near Elm Place, as the train was leaving Chicago.
