Dolton, IL (July 24, 2022) – A 4-year-old girl died and a 9-year-old girl was critically wounded after being thrown from their vehicle after a two-car collision in Dolton, Illinois, on July 23.
On Saturday evening about 6:00 p.m., according to Dolton Police, the first vehicle’s driver lost control and collided with the vehicle carrying the children near the junction of East 138th Avenue and Cottage Grove Avenue.
The two girls were thrown from the car. The 4-year-old child passed away, while the 9-year-old remained hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries on Sunday.
