Chicago, IL (December 19, 2022) – On Monday, December 19, two automobiles crashed on a major highway in the Chicago region, requiring the deployment of several law enforcement vehicles and local Chicagoland first responders.
At about 5:35 p.m., officers from the Chicago Police Department were sent to the westbound I-290. The right lanes of traffic between Harlem Avenue and Racine Avenue were restricted due to a collision involving two vehicles. Emergency services reportedly transported one patient to a hospital in the Chicago region.
Despite this, investigators are still looking into the case, but they have uncovered nothing new thus yet. In the interim, the CPD has issued a call for help from anybody who may know anything about the accident.
Our thoughts remain with the wounded victims and their families at this time.
