Elgin, IL (December 15, 2022) – At least five vehicles were damaged in Elgin Thursday evening following a collision on Route 20, which also resulted in a handful of victim injuries.
McLean Boulevard’s westbound lanes near the bridge deck were blocked until emergency personnel arrived.
There was no immediate information regarding how many people were hurt, but a local news video showed that emergency medical technicians were on the scene and transported several people.
According to some sources, there was black ice, and the weather may have had a factor in the accident. The police said that no charges are currently being pursued in relation to the occurrence. Nevertheless, the probe is still ongoing.
