Chicago, IL (May 16, 2023) – On Sunday morning, four people, including two children, were injured in a Washington Park-area collision on Chicago’s South Side.
The Chicago Fire Department reported that around 11:50 a.m., they were sent to the 5700 block of South State Street in response to a two-car collision.
Fire rescue team members said two toddlers were transferred to Comer Children’s Hospital and in serious condition.
Further reports also indicated that two other individuals were hurt and were transported in serious condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Officers with the Chicago Police Department reported to the scene for their investigation, though they have not publicly provided further details about the incident.
