Chicago, IL – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Accident on I-55 at I-80

Chicago, IL (May 30, 2022) – According to local officials, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in the Chicagoland region on Monday afternoon, May 30.

The driver of a passenger vehicle was going northbound on Interstate 55 after exiting the I-80 ramp when they collided with another automobile, causing a rollover collision, according to Chicago Police. When the accident happened at 12:30 p.m., both automobiles were in the right lanes.

Two persons were injured, but their present statuses were not disclosed. They received mild to moderate but non-life-threatening injuries. While the CPD worked the area, traffic was backed up to U.S. Highway 6.
